At the invitation of Wuhan University (China), Acting Rector of BSU
participated in the World Conference on Digital Education. His report focused on
the study of risks associated with digital learning and the potential use of
artificial intelligence to enhance scientific research and the educational
process in academic institutions.
"Today, we are entering a new era characterized by the widespread adoption of
digital technologies and artificial intelligence. It is crucial that
international standards for digital security be established. The key role in
this process belongs to the regulatory bodies responsible for implementing
educational policies in various countries."
The key to civilized development is not just learning how to use artificial
intelligence and work with big data. It's also about forming moral and ethical
principles among students and educating the future generation to understand the
inextricable link between personal growth and the interests of society and
state, as Oleg Gribunov emphasized in his speech at the conference. This idea
formed the main theme of all the presentations.
The conference brought together scientists from over 120 countries, including
the Prime Minister of China, ministers of education from China, Cambodia,
Colombia, and Great Britain, as well as representatives from Malaysia and
Russia. Scientists and university rectors from Moscow, St. Petersburg, and
Vladimir also attended the event.
During his visit to China, the Acting Rector of BSU met with representatives
from Wuhan University and the Institute of Information Management. They
discussed issues related to cooperation, including the possibility of
implementing an E-Commerce program in Bachelor's and Master's degree programs.
Wuhan University is one of the largest and most prestigious universities in
China. It is ranked among the top ten in the country and has a strong reputation
for its academic excellence. This year, BSU signed a Memorandum of Cooperation
with Wuhan University, and Oleg Gribunov is currently visiting as part of this
partnership.
