Anshan Pedagogical University (APU) has been cooperating with Baikal State University since 2017. All this time, universities exchanged student delegations. Today, representatives of the Chinese university arrived with a set of proposals for expanding cooperation.
Head of the Department of International Exchange and Cooperation of the University, Dean of the Institute of International Education Wang Linlin voiced some of them. Colleagues offered scholarship programs for students in several areas, and for teachers, continuing education courses and language programs. In addition, Chinese partners would like, like other Chinese universities, to begin mastering the dual diploma program.
Wang Linlin gave the vice-rector for youth policy and educational activities Elena Khitrova a welcoming address addressed to the BSU administration Oleg Gribunov with congratulations on his 95th birthday. And wishes for prosperity and fruitful cooperation. Elena Khitrova expressed hope for the formation of mutually beneficial educational programs, when students of BSU and APU will have the opportunity to receive diplomas of two universities in linguistics, tourism, hospitality and marketing upon graduation.
