Baikal State University gives you an opportunity to take up Russian as a foreign language and profession-oriented courses to acquire necessary Russian language skills and knowledge in the selected academic areas.

Then you can successfully continue higher education according to chosen program and necessary degree.

The International Faculty of BSU (adress: Office 308, Bld. 4, 11 Lenin St., Irkutsk, Russia) offers preparatory courses for prospective Bachelor’s and Master’s degree students.

Russian as a foreign language course aimed at:

Preparing foreign students for training

at the definite faculties and institutes of the BSU

Including both linguistic and subject training

of foreign citizens in the necessary disciplines of their future specialization

Introduction by the highly professional teaching staff of the faculty variation learning model of lessons

that are also focused on the needs and interests of the student

Tuition fee: 95,000 per academic year. The cost of training is calculated monthly according to the training period in the contract, based on 10 months of the academic year.

In case of successful course completion students get:
  • State certificate
  • Reference of the study period (for those students who do not have final assessment)

Important!

All the translations into Russian must be prepared for the name and surname indicated in the entry visa.

Visa procedure starts after filling in an invitation application form, submitting it to the International Relations Department of BSU (possible by e-mail: umd@bgu.ru) and receiving an invitation to have your study visa issued at the Consulate of the Russian Federation in your country.

The documents are accepted during the year.
