The celebration of Chinese Language Day at the International Faculty of BSU
has already become a good tradition. Russian students of different institutes of
the university studying Chinese, together with the children of the International
Faculty, prepared a creative exhibition "Chinese hieroglyph."
They approached the creation of works creatively: paintings and crafts are
made of a variety of materials - from fabric and cardboard to shells, metal and
even pasta. Each composition is based on a hieroglyph. Teachers noted that the
most popular symbol this year was "love." As the dean of the faculty, Anna
Litovkina, said, the best work will be chosen by closed voting, after which the
exposition will be transferred to general display.
In honor of the holiday, linguists received letters of thanks on behalf of
the rector of BSU Oleg Gribunov for his contribution to the development of
Russian-Chinese cooperation, the popularization of the language and the
involvement of students in the study of topical issues of Chinese life.
Presenting the awards, Anna Mikhailovna emphasized: "This holiday is included
in the system of international days of UN languages and is timed to coincide
with the day of memory of Tsang Jie, the creator of Chinese writing. I am proud
that our university employs wonderful teachers who sincerely love their work and
pass on to students not just knowledge, but love for Chinese culture."
