Olkhonsky district started the International Youth Forum "Baikal." More than 600 young people from 46 regions of Russia and 15 countries gathered on the shores of the sacred lake. The forum program includes lectures, meetings and dialogues with famous people, protection of student projects.
Among the applicants for grants from Rosmolodezh are representatives of BSU. This year, the university sent more than 180 applications to the forum. Our students have prepared 20 projects in the main areas of the forum.
Artyom Nesterenko, a 3rd year student at the Institute of National Economy, is also preparing to defend his work. As Artyom said, he is participating in such an event for the first time: "More than 100 people will make reports in my direction. I am worried, of course - before the experts I will present a series of scientific articles of my project "Voice of Science." The task is to interest the audience. The one who collects more points for his performance will win."
The forum is being held for the 17th time. The main theme of this year is "Sustainable Development Goals." There are several sites:
- "Tourism,"
- "Entrepreneurship,"
- "Young Politicians,"
- "Young teachers,"
- "Ecology,"
- "Leaders of municipalities,"
- "International Youth Clubs."
The organizers are: the Government of the Irkutsk Region, the Ministry of Youth Policy of the Irkutsk Region with the participation of the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Siberian Federal District, with the support of Rosmolodezh.
The forum will end on August 15 with summing up the results at each site and awarding the winners of the Rosmolodezh.Grants competition and the regional competition of socially significant projects.
