Baikal State University signed a number of agreements with Chinese universities

The delegation of Baikal State University headed by the First Vice-Rector - Vice-Rector for Research Oleg Gribunov and Vice-Rector for International Relations Mikhail Kuzmin, being in Shenyang as part of the delegation of the Governor of the Irkutsk region in the People's Republic of China today consolidated the agreements reached with Chinese partners from among the higher education organizations of the People's Republic of China on scientific and educational cooperation.

A strategic Agreement on scientific and educational cooperation between Baikal State University and Liaoning University was signed, under which the universities plan to develop promising scientific and educational projects, as well as continue the exchange of teachers, scientists and students, which began more than ten years ago.

Baikal State University also signed an agreement to expand priority areas of cooperation in education and research with Shenyang Polytechnic University. Baikal State University and Shenyang Polytechnic University have been cooperating in the field of education for about twenty years. During this period, fruitful results in the field of international education have been achieved, rich experience in the organization and implementation of joint projects has been gained. In 2013, a joint double degree program was launched in the bachelor's degree programs "Economics" and "Management". To date, 64 students are studying at BSU under this program.
