Together with the heads of educational institutions of Mongolia, the
delegation hosted by Baikal State University included deputies of the
Legislative Assembly of one of the aimaks.
The guests were interested in the educational programs of Baikal State
University and the organization of advanced training for teachers in Mongolia.
The members of the delegation were welcomed by Vladimir Sinichenko,
Vice-Rector for Research and International Relations of BSU, and Anna Litovkina,
Dean of the International Faculty.
Vladimir Sinichenko, in particular, told about the opportunities of studying
under the quotas of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and
about the priority areas of study at BSU, which may be of interest to Mongolian
students. Such as economics, customs, e-commerce, linguistics and others.
Anna Litovkina emphasized the advantages that language schools offer to
potential applicants. She told about preparatory courses, field test sessions
and professional development programs for Russian language teachers.
The representatives of the Mongolian delegation got acquainted with the
university and agreed on cooperation. The nearest plans are to organize a
cultural and educational trip for a group of high school students in spring of
this year.
