BSU hosted the thesis defense of a young scientist from Vietnam
Hoang Dinh Cuong's dissertation topic is devoted to mathematical analysis and strength characteristics of radial turbomachines with parameter tuning. The work was carried out by the young scientist under the guidance of Oleg Repetsky, Doctor of Science, Professor, Vice-Rector for International Relations of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education “Irkutsk State Agrarian University”.

BSU and Manchurian Institute of Russian Language signed a cooperation agreement
The Manchurian Institute of Russian Language of Inner Mongolia University is
a long-standing partner of Baikal State University. At the meeting, colleagues
from China once again confirmed their plans to implement the partnership program
until 2032 and discussed with the BSU administration the possibilities of
exchanging delegations of students and teachers.

BSU students took part in the conference “Republic of Korea: History and Modernity”
BSU students took part in the scientific and practical conference “Republic of Korea: History and Modernity”. The event was held at the Institute of Philology and Foreign Languages of Irkutsk State University with the support of the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Irkutsk. Participants from different cities presented reports on the economy, culture and international relations of the Republic of Korea, and also discussed the difficulties of translation from Korean into Russian.
