BSU students in North Korea - “The Land of Morning Freshness”
At the invitation of the National Council of Youth and Children's
Associations of Russia and MIREA - Russian Technological University students of
the Institute of World Economy and International Relations of BSU Galina
Skryabikova, Elina Zausaeva, Sofia Yankova from October 28, 2024 to November 05,
2024 took part in the first study tour within the Program of study tours of
student groups between Russia and the North Korea.

Neoavant-Garde for international students
In the year of the 175th anniversary of the founder of the Irkutsk Art Museum
named after V. P. Sukachev, the Gallery of Siberian Art presents the exhibition
of the Moscow AZ Museum (Anatoly Zverev Museum) “My Teacher Leonardo”. It was to
this exhibition that an excursion was organized for foreign students of the
International Faculty of BSU.
Master students of the International Faculty visited the Chinese Art Exhibition
First-year master students of the BSU International Faculty took part in the
grand opening of the exhibition of Chinese art “Journey to the Celestial
Empire”, which took place in the main building of the Irkutsk Regional Art
Museum. The exhibition is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the proclamation
of the People's Republic of China and is organized within the program of the
Years of Culture of Russia and China.

Excursion to the Architectural and Ethnographic Museum “Taltsy”
Traditionally in the fall students of the International Department of Baikal
State University make an educational excursion to the Architectural and
Ethnographic Museum “Taltsy” and the village of Listvyanka. International
students from Mauritania, China, Vietnam and Mongolia, as well as teachers of
the Department of Russian Language and Intercultural Communication went to the
museum complex, where architectural and ethnographic monuments of the peoples of
the Baikal region of the XVII-XX centuries are collected in the open air.
