BSU celebrated Chinese Language Day
The celebration of Chinese Language Day at the International Faculty of BSU
has already become a good tradition. Russian students of different institutes of
the university studying Chinese, together with the children of the International
Faculty, prepared a creative exhibition "Chinese hieroglyph."

The SKDC "Khudozhestvenny" hosted a landmark event dedicated to the 114th
anniversary of the birth of the leader of the Korean people, Kim Il Sung. The
meeting dedicated to the state holiday of the DPRK - "Day of the Sun" was
organized by the Irkutsk regional public organization "Society of Russian-Korean
Friendship," a delegation of the Khabarovsk Office of the DPRK Consulate General
in Vladivostok and Baikal State University.
BSU and the Society of Friends of Mongolia secured cooperation with an official agreement
Despite years of close cooperation and the fact that the chairman of the
Irkutsk Regional Society of Friends of Mongolia Kuzma Aldarov is a graduate of
BSU, an official cooperation agreement has been signed only now. BSU Rector
Professor Oleg Gribunov and Kuzma Aldarov signed a document defining the
priority areas of joint work in the field of science and education.
The BSU team received the Gratitude of the President of the Russian Federation
The Governor of the Irkutsk Region Igor Kobzev presented the rector of Baikal
State University, Professor Oleg Gribunov, with the Gratitude of Russian
President Vladimir Putin. The award was awarded to the university staff for
their services in the field of science and education, as well as for their
contribution to the training of highly qualified specialists.
