More than 500 awards, over 70 scientific publications - BSU 2024 results

Аlthough the academic year continues, the calendar year 2024 is coming to an end and it is possible to summarize some results.

This year Baikal State University enrolled 4139 students in 59 programs of study.

BSU and Manchurian Institute of Russian Language signed a cooperation agreement

The Manchurian Institute of Russian Language of Inner Mongolia University is a long-standing partner of Baikal State University. At the meeting, colleagues from China once again confirmed their plans to implement the partnership program until 2032 and discussed with the BSU administration the possibilities of exchanging delegations of students and teachers.

BSU student to represent Russia at beauty pageant in China

In January 2025, Daria Orlova, a student of Baikal State University, will represent Russia at an international beauty pageant in China.

BSU hosted the thesis defense of a young scientist from Vietnam

Hoang Dinh Cuong's dissertation topic is devoted to mathematical analysis and strength characteristics of radial turbomachines with parameter tuning. The work was carried out by the young scientist under the guidance of Oleg Repetsky, Doctor of Science, Professor, Vice-Rector for International Relations of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education “Irkutsk State Agrarian University”.
