BSU strengthens ties with Mongolia: new horizons of cooperation discussed

A delegation from Etugen University paid an official visit to Baikal State University. The meeting is timed to coincide with an important event - the international scientific and practical conference "Russia and Mongolia: History, Diplomacy, Economics, Science," dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the birth of the famous statesman Yumzhagiin Tsedenbal.

The School of International Friendship has started on Lake Baikal!

Five students of Baikal State University: John Chitalu, Zahar Haifa, Okoye Ifechukwu Abiyel, Kaji Bolda Jordan and Luan Sinming from Zambia, Cameroon, China, Tunisia and Nigeria became participants in the School of International Friendship, which takes place on the picturesque shore of Lake Baikal in the Olkhon district.

Rector Oleg Gribunov signed three agreements at the rectors forum in Hanoi

The third forum of rectors of Russian and Vietnamese universities takes place from 22 to 23 May 2026 in Hanoi on the basis of the Hanoi University of Transport and Communications. It is attended by 62 Russian and 68 Vietnamese universities.

BSU students successfully confirm their proficiency in Chinese

Fifth-year students of the Institute of World Economy and International Relations of Baikal State University Bair Zabanov, Van Alina Shievna and Tatyana Pilkevich successfully confirmed a high level of Chinese proficiency by passing the international HSK4 exam.

May 9 is a date in which pride in the unparalleled feat of heroes and deep sorrow for millions of lives cut short merged together. For our university, this day is of particular importance: we remember about every teacher and student who went to the front, and about those who fought for the lives of fighters within the walls of the BSU, turned into an evacuation hospital.
