On April 4, 2024 the VII Forum of Mongolian alumni of Baikal State University was held in Ulaanbaatar. The BSU delegation consisting of Oleg Gribunov, First Vice-Rector - Vice-Rector for scientific work, Mikhail Kuz’min, Vice-Rector for International Relations, and Mikhail Vinokurov, BSU honorary rector, arrived in the Mongolian capital to participate in the forum.
Themed meetings "The Nature of Russia in Russian Poetry" for third-year international students were held at the International Faculty. The events were held within the framework of the academic discipline "Interpretation of Artistic Text".
Mikhail Kuz’min, Vice-Rector of BSU, told about the main achievements of BSU in international relations. In 2023, the geography of foreign citizens in Baikal State University has significantly expanded. First of all, due to the enrollment of students from Togo, Cote d'Ivoire, Chile, Cuba and Colombia. The number of students from the People's Republic of China has also increased significantly. Their share in the enrollment of 2023 exceeded 67%.
