Preparations for a festival of foreign songs are going on in BSU
Already for a moth and a half preparations for a festival of foreign songs are going on in Baikal State University. This festival will be held on the stage of the cultural and leather center “Khudozhestvenny” (Художественный) on February 16 , 2023. First audition of the participants took place today. The commission, consisting of the Center of creativity of BSU staff and teachers of the Department of Foreign Languages for Professional Purposes, evaluated performances of the registered participants to choose 5-6 performances that will take part in the final.

Consul General of Mongolia visited BSU
Delegation from Mongloia headed by the Consul General Mr. Zhigmed Enkhzhargal has visited BSU. Viktor Ignatenko, Rector of BSU, personally lead the distinguished guests through the corridors of our university, showed them the scientific library and the Rector’s reading room. The Consul General notes the scale and diversity of BSU book collection. Mr. Enkhzhargal was especially impressed by the book collection about Mongolia. The guest appreciated not only the interiors and facades of BSU, but also the atmosphere prevailing in our university, as well as a huge potential for studying of Mongolian students in a wide range of specialties.

Baikal State University is preparing for the festival of foreign songs
Preparations for the First Intercollegiate festival of songs in foreign languages "Sounds of Music", which will be held in February 2023, are in full swing. This was reported by Associate Professor of the Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics of BSU Marina Egorova.
