The annual Orange party media contest has ended at Baikal State University. Students of the following fields of study attended it: "Journalism" and "Advertising, Public Relations, as well as students of other areas. The theme for this year's competition was import substitution.
Six teams competed for the victory in the competition. Within two and a half hours, the teams presented their projects, showed videos, acted out scenes, and showed their knowledge in the field of marketing and advertising, and all that’s to prove that their business idea is the most relevant and worthy of attention.
A jury of four people evaluated the quality of the work done for the presentation of their own brand. It includes professionals from the field of marketing, advertising and media creation.
“Such events show how interesting and creative our students can be”: said one of the juries, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the BSU Media Centre Natalia Melnikova. She also that university employees are very keen to see such events; they let to see our students in a different way.
The team of students "Delovaya kolbasa" proposed the idea of Orange media marketing agency. They thought out a business card video, developed a business account in social networks, created a logo, and successfully coped with the creative tasks of the competition. The team took the first place. The winners received gift certificates from the partner of the event school of English “No English School”.
The team “Mamkiny biznesmeny” with the ideas of creating a family cafe «U Babushki» took the second place. They were awarded certificates with a nominal value of 500 rubles to “Wowa” food delivery.
The third place went to IWEIR team and their unique dating agency called “Philia”. They received certificates from the sponsor to the “Painkiller” paintball club.
