Five students of Baikal State University were rewarded with the Mayor's scholarship
The architectural complex "House Europe" honored young scientists, excellent
students, social activists and sportsmen. Students from 49 universities,
technical schools and colleges received personal scholarships from the Mayor of
Irkutsk. Ruslan Bolotov noted the important contribution of each participant of
today's celebration to the strengthening and development of the Russian society
and state. And once again reminded that first of all our region needs bright
heads and strong hands. Both scientists and sports stars are more than
welcomed.

Mikhail Vinokurov will be awarded with the title of "Honorary Rector of Baikal State University"
Today, the Academic Council of Baikal State University, at its extraordinary meeting, approved the honorary title "Honorary Rector of Baikal State University”. The title will be conferred upon former rector of the university, Doctor of Economics, Professor Mikhail Vinokurov, who has been managing the university for 27 years and greatly contributed to its scientific, educational and logistical development.
BSU participated in the RAEX’s 11th annual forum of the leading Russian universities
The 11th annual forum of the leading Russian universities "The Future of Higher Education" took place in Moscow. Mikhail Kuz’min, Vice-Rector for International Relations of Baikal State University, took part in it. He presented the achievements of the university in international and research activities and spoke about the main directions of the university development, which are implemented in order to enter the top universities of Russia RAEX-100 rating, as well as the rating of "Three missions of universities".
