Representatives of BSU took part in the meeting of the Russian-Chinese working group

At the ISU site, the 17th meeting of the Russian-Chinese working group on high technologies and innovations of the Subcommittee on scientific and technical cooperation of the Russian-Chinese commission on the preparation of regular meetings of heads of government was held.

"Many prominent economic and financial figures of Mongolia were educated at BSU. I came to visit you with great interest. I see how sensitive you are to the history of relations between our countries, I am very pleased and thank you for this," Zhugderdemidiin Gurragcha shared with the journalists of the BSU Media Center.

The meeting brought together representatives of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Science of China, scientific institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and educational organizations. The parties discussed mechanisms of cooperation in the field of fundamental and applied sciences, the development of advanced technologies, a roadmap for interaction until 2030, coordination of competitions for joint scientific projects, holding Russian-Chinese scientific, technical and congress and exhibition events.

"The heads of Russia and China in May of this year proclaimed a course towards technological leadership, securing it in joint documents," said Oleg Gribunov, rector of BSU. - This group is an important interstate mechanism coordinating the introduction of advanced developments, the exchange of technologies, the creation of joint innovative projects between Russia and China.

It is important that the development of a roadmap for interaction until 2030 is carried out in accordance with the national priorities of the countries, is based on mutual respect, is aimed at increasing the effectiveness of existing Russian-Chinese collaborations, and is also focused on the development of new strategically important scientific areas. This applies to the "green" and low-altitude economy, environmental protection, and other breakthrough studies. All this will form new opportunities and prospects for both established scientists and scientific youth and students of the two countries."
