Vladimir Sinichenko, Vice-Rector for Research and International Relations of Baikal State University, took part in the exhibition-presentation of Chinese higher education institutions in Irkutsk.

The event was held at the Irkutsk State University. The exhibition presented information about nineteen Chinese universities: Tsinghua University, Beijing University of Science and Technology, Tianjin University, Xiamen University, Wuhan University, Yanban University, Dalian, South China, Beijing and Lanzhou University of Technology, Central South University, Southwest Transport University, University of Electronic Science and Technology, Xi'an Transport University, Harbin Polytechnic, Engineering and Medical Universities, Nanjing Aeronautical University, Nanjing University of Science and Technology, and others.

More than two dozen universities of the People's Republic of China have been partners of Baikal State University for many years. Within the framework of acquaintance with new universities at the exhibition the issues of organization of academic exchange of students, development of double degree programs and development of research activities were discussed. Chinese universities are interested in long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation with BSU.
