In 2024, the Institute of World Economy and International Relations of Baikal State University celebrates its 30th anniversary.

I sincerely and from the bottom of my heart congratulate the entire staff of the Institute on the anniversary. The activities of the Institute's faculty and staff are a vivid example of dedicated service to science and higher education. The role played by IMEMO in the establishment of inter-university and interstate relations is enormous.

Established in 1994, the Department of World Economy has become a part of the university, a part of the fate of several thousand specialists trained over thirty years.

I wish the staff of the Institute success, creative inspiration, health, happiness and well-being.
