Maria Vasilkova, a member of the State Duma of the Russian Federation from the Irkutsk region, a member of the Duma Committee on Industry and Trade, and a former graduate of the university, visited Baikal State University. She talked to the university staff, young scientists, students and teachers.

“Every time I come to Irkutsk with pleasure and with undisguised joy I visit my native university, which has given me a lot. I am always in favor of an open dialogue,” the elected woman emphasized at the meeting.

In the process of dialog on equal terms, the guys were interested in the career of Deputy Vasilkova, asked about the “Leaders of Russia” project, about incentive bonuses for students, asked other questions.

State Duma deputy Maria Vasilkova arrived in the Irkutsk Region together with the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Anton Alikhanov and visited with him the production site of Usoliekhimprom, where in the future it is planned to create the Federal Center of Chemical Production.
