The representatives of Shenyang Polytechnic University - 22 students and 2 teachers - take part in the language school at BSU. The training will take 2 weeks. During this time, Chinese students have time to be acquainted with the sights of the region and Baikal State University.

Mikhail Kuz’min, vice-rector for international activities of BSU, told the guests about the areas of training, university ratings and peculiarities of education. He also conducted a tour of the campus. The students from China were acquainted with the work of the university radio and television, saw modern technical means, and tried themselves as presenters.

The participants of the language school were shown the reading rooms of BSU, introduced to the activities of the Center for the Study of National History, where, among other things, there was also a literature on Russian-Chinese relations. The students were guided through the ancient buildings of BSU, told about the role of teachers and students in the Great Patriotic War.

As Mikhail Kuz’min noted, the cooperation between Baikal State University and Shenyang Polytechnic University has been going on for more than 30 years. In particular, now there are double degree programs, as a result of which students can receive a document of education of two states at once.
