Jilin Pedagogical University became a new Chinese partner university of Baikal State University.

During the visit a cooperation agreement was signed, under which it is planned to implement an academic exchange program already in the summer of 2024. The directions of cooperation on higher education programs were also discussed. The Chinese side made proposals for a scheme of joint training on master's degree programs.

“The modern, highly equipped facilities of the university - library, dormitories, sports complex and concert hall - were demonstrated to our delegation. BSU students who decided to go on an internship to Jilin Pedagogical University will enjoy excellent learning conditions and comfortable accommodation”, - said Vice-Rector for international relations of Baikal State University Mikhail Kuz’min.
