Ekaterina Mironova, a lecturer at the Department of Criminal Procedure and
Prosecutor's Supervision of the Institute of Justice of Baikal State University,
was recognized as the “Best CIS Researcher - 2024” according to the results of
the international competition.
In April in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, the results of the
International Competition “The Best CIS Researcher - 2024” were summarized. The
contest is dedicated to the outstanding personality of scientist Al-Farabi. The
event was organized by the Association of Legal Entities in the form of the
Association “Nationwide Movement ‘Bobek’. The Association for many years has
been organizing events in the field of science, education and innovation, which
are the most promising and priority for the CIS countries.
Ekaterina Mironova, a lecturer of the Department of Criminal Procedure and
Prosecutor's Supervision of the Institute of Justice of BSU, became the winner
(first degree diploma holder) of the contest and was awarded a medal “The Best
CIS Researcher - 2024” for her contribution to the development of science and
education.
Ekaterina Mironova presented her scientific work on the topic “Moral
categories of honor and dignity in the aspect of the prospect of introducing
end-to-end digital technologies in criminal proceedings (based on a comparative
analysis of the CPC of the Russian Federation and the CPC of the Republic of
Kazakhstan)”. The work was published in the I International book edition of the
CIS countries “The Best Researcher - 2024”.
Ekaterina Mironova has been researching moral principles of criminal
proceedings in the context of digitalization of society for several years. This
topic is relevant not only for Russia, but also for the whole CIS.
