Dean of the International Faculty of Baikal State University Anna Litovkina and teacher of Russian as a foreign language Ekaterina Nepomnyashchikh visited the Chinese city of Manchuria (Inner Mongolia Province). The business visit took place at the invitation of the Chinese side. BSU representatives became members of the commission for certification of Chinese bachelors and masters.

The tests were conducted on different levels of Russian language for students who have just graduated from the preparatory faculty in China and are going to enter BSU, as well as for teachers, translators and diplomats. As a result of the visit, the cooperation agreement between the Manchurian Institute of Russian Language, Manchurian College of Education and Baikal State University was extended.

According to Anna Litovkina, in June 2024 BSU will send students to the People's Republic of China for language courses, and in September - to wait for Chinese students with a return visit. An educational and cultural program will be organized for the guests.

According to Anna Litovkina, Dean of the International Faculty, Baikal State University appreciates the friendly relations between Russia and China and sees China's support for Russia. Internships and language exchange await BSU students and faculty in the near future.
