The first place in Siberia and the third place in the country was taken by students of the Department of Journalism and Marketing Technologies of Baikal State University at the business solutions competition "Archer Future". They received their awards at the master class "Factchecking and Media Hygiene", which was held in the reading room of the BSU library. Their mentors and students congratulated the participants of the «PRESS-nerps» team.

The team consisted of students of "International Journalism" and "Advertising and Public Relations": Tatiana Alekseeva (team captain), Maria Sudochakova, Margarita Bobkova, Karina Fokirova, Angelina Tarskaya, Zarina Shaykhutdinova and Polina Savenko. The staff of the Department of Journalism and Marketing Technologies led the team: Professor Natalia Rubtsova and Senior Lecturer Ekaterina Izmestieva.

Within the framework of the competition, the girls solved two tasks. They prepared a children's supplement to the newspaper of the Pipe Metallurgical Company, for which they received the status of winners of the "Archer Future Krasnoyarsk" round and the third place at the All-Russian round. In addition, the activity program for Polyus received bronze awards at both competitions. The round of defenses was held in the online format.

The students of Journalism and Advertising and Public Relations were at the university until late in the evening to present their work. Teams from Krasnoyarsk, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Bishkek, Irkutsk and other cities took part in the presentation.

In the end, prizes were awarded. The students received wireless headphones, graphic tablets, fitness bracelets and a portable charger.
