In order to strengthen the friendly relations between Russia and Germany, as well as making connections between BSU and German universities, Baikal State University held a meeting with Artem Ivanov, a professor of Landshut University of Applied Sciences, whose concentration is industrial construction.
Administration of Baikal State University and representatives of national and cultural organizations from Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan discussed possibilities for students' attraction from CIS countries, as well as joint participation in international events of various orientations.
The international scientific conference "Mongolia of the 20th century and Russian-Mongolian relations: History and Economics" dedicated to the 100th anniversary of establishment of Russian-Mongolian diplomatic relations was held at Baikal State University last Friday.
Several anniversaries in Russian-Mongolian relations are being celebrated in 2021: the century of establishment of bilateral diplomatic relations, the 50th anniversary of the Mongolian Consulate General in Irkutsk and the 40th anniversary of Mongolian cosmonaut Jugderdemidiin Gurragchaa's space-flight.
The Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Irkutsk, KIM SE WOONG, visited Baikal State University on 21 April. Rector of the university, Victor V. Ignatenko, gave a tour for the guest around the university.
