Last week a team of BSU students traveled to Port Baikal to take part in a cultural and educational project - a creative performance "We Love, Preserve, Create". This project is dedicated to the memory of writer Valentin Rasputin, who lived and created his works here, near Lake Baikal.
Studenthood is the time when young people leave their parents' home. Often they go to neighboring regions or even other countries to get an education. This is where interethnic relations arise. Students find themselves in a different environment that may or may not accept them. Mikhail Kuzmin, Vice-Rector for International Activities of Baikal State University, told us about the role of interethnic relations in the student environment.
Baikal State University celebrated The Freshman Day. A small concert program and a drawing of gifts with the university logo were prepared for all those who joined the beautiful and big family of the university.
