Baikal State University took part in the Russian-African Network University consortium
Baikal State University officially signed the Agreement on joining the
consortium "Russian-African Network University" (RANU), which is a platform for
the development of academic cooperation between Russian and African
universities.

In 2023, system integrator Paraweb launched the first rating in Russia, which
comprehensively and objectively evaluates the websites of Russian universities,

BSU students became the winners of the international festival in China
Anastasia and Tatiana Alexeev’s are twin sisters. They come from Angarsk and have been involved in music since early childhood. Anastasia plays the flute, and Tatiana is improving in pop and jazz vocals. Anastasia is a third-year student in Fine Arts, and Tatiana is a third-year student in Advertising and Public Relations. BSU students are repeated prize-winners and winners of various musical competitions, but they performed at the international youth festival "On the Silk Road" for the first time. The contest is very prestigious and popular abroad. This is evidenced by the fact that in the first round, which was held in January in the city of Angarsk, more than 750 young talents from the Irkutsk region, Buryatia, Mongolia and China took part. The audition was held for three days from morning till late evening.
BSU student on internship at Shandong University
Arina Zhambalova, a student of the International Relations program at the
Shandong Polytechnic University of Foreign Languages China, is finishing her
internship at the Shandong Polytechnic University of Foreign Languages in
Zhizhao, China with good achievements. The second semester from March 4 to July
5, spent in the walls of the Chinese university, was even more intense and
difficult than the semester from September to December. After passing the exams
successfully, Arina continued her language training, moving from the elementary
group to the advanced one. The progress in learning Chinese is obvious: Arina
came to China with HSK 2 level of Chinese, and at the end of June she
successfully passed the HSK 4 exams! She has already received a certificate for
successful completion of the internship and excellent studies, and on July 5th
she will receive her remaining diplomas and report cards at a
ceremony.
