Mr. Han Seong Chin, The Consul General of the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Irkutsk, visited Baikal State University. He got introduced to the innovations and achievements of BSU. The guest also visited the radio studio of BSU Media Center, checked the equipment of the shooting pavilion, and talked with young journalists.

"I am surprised that BSU has its own radio channel and television. The content produced here is very diverse," Mr. Consul said.

Mr. Khan was recently assigned to his position. One of the first events he attended was the Week of Korean culture in Irkutsk region. Its opening ceremony was on the stage of the Cultural Center "Khudozhestvenny". Today the Consul General visited the main building of Baikal State University campus. He visited the student catering facility, the reading rooms of the BSU Scientific Library, noted the rich history of the university, its modern interiors and its scientific activities.

"The main directions of our partnership will be cultural and educational activities, scientific exchanges and, of course, the development of educational cooperation in the form of bilateral exchanges, opening new educational programs and academic mobility," noted Mikhail Kuz’min, Vice-Rector for International Relations of Baikal State University.
