Last week regional swimming tournament was held in “Solnechny” pool. Students of BSU, INRTU, ISAU, ISMU, GTSOLIFK, IrGUPS. BSU team has got the first place among universities in swimming.

The tournament results:

BSU team (Ekaterina Sokolova, Ekaterina Vedmanova, Anastasia Balashova, Eleonora Krasilnikova) took the first place in the woman’s relay. Our sportsmen Vladimir Taraban, Dmitry Aslamov, Aleksander Balashov, Vladislav Zverev took the second place in the men’s relay.

In the individual championship Eleonora Krasilnikova took the first place in the 50 m backstroke, and the third place - in the 50 m freestyle. Ekaterina Vedmanova took the second place in the 50 m backstroke, Ekaterina Sokolova - the third place in the 100 meters freestyle.

Among men Vladislav Zverev took the first place in the competition 50 meters freestyle, Vladimir Taraban took the first place in the 50 m breaststroke and the second place in the 200 m of complex swimming. Aleksander Balashov took the third place in the competition 50 m breaststroke.
