For the New Year according to the Eastern calendar, which was celebrated in the night from 21 to 22 January, 2023, freshmen of the International Faculty of Baikal State University decorated Building No. 10 with festive garlands in oriental style, and also made a short video.

“All four first-year groups were involved in this. The New Year according to the Eastern calendar, for example, in China is celebrated for 15 days, so we will arrange a festive table with tea drinking for our foreign students from China and other countries, but this will be later, after the International Student Day,” said Irina Zarubina, the Associate Dean on educational work of the International Faculty of BSU.
