First intercollegiate New Year’s Concert took place yesterday in the cultural and leisure center “Khudozhestvenny” (Художественный). It was held at the initiative of the Media Center and the Center of creativity of Baikal State University.

ISU, IrGUPS, INRTU and BSU presented to the audience bright performances of their creative teams. Besides, the invited teams – a ballroom dance studio “Edelweiss”, a pop vocal studio of the Palace of Children and Youth Creativity “Chance” and a municipal exemplary children’s dance ensemble “Solnyshko” participated in the event.

Three performances were presented at the concert by INRTU. There were a dance team “Academic” with performances “Jewish wedding” and “ Sailed”, and also a drummers ensemble “Etnobit” with a bright performance “Dragon”.

Two performances were shown by the creative teams of Irkutsk State University. Dance teams “Curtsy” and “Symbol” performed with numbers “The night in..” and “Voice”. But the most satisfying was the numerous participation of the representatives of IrGUPS student creation. They have shown 5 performances: vocal and dance.

Regardless of age, all children and adults, as well as students, are waiting for the New Year. So this concert is a good opportunity to feel the atmosphere of the approaching holiday. New Year is an interesting time for students too, an opportunity to meet family and school friends.

The creative teams did a good job last year and wanted to demonstrate the bright palette of their creativity. The Media Center and the Center of creativity of BSU hope to make this intercollegiate event annual and will continue the implementation of intercollegiate projects.
