On November 20-24, 2022, the international scientific and educational forum “Caucasian dialog” was held in the cities of Makhachkala and Derbent, the Republic of Dagestan. Representatives of Russia, China, Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Abkhazia took part in the forum. Inga Yeritsyan, a teacher of Department of International Relations and Customs, and Ekaterina Rumyzntseva, a forth-year student of the International Relations, were the participants of the international forum, who passed a difficult competitive selection.
“Caucasian dialog” is an annual conference of the Gorchakov Foundation. At the conference, participants openly discuss topical political and economic problems of the North and South Caucasus, work out ways to solve them. The theme of the event is “The Caucasus in a Changing World”. Within the scientific and educational forum representatives of BSU worked in a group ‘Ways to achieve a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan’ and presented possible scenarios for the development of these countries’ relations in the long term. Participation in such a representative forum allows the participants not only to acquire new knowledge and skills, but also built scientific communications that play an important role in the specialist’s training in the field of international relations.
