The annual traditional and the massive student event – the spring Student Ball took place today at Baikal State University. Its theme was the Carnival of Venice. The results of the students' work were summarized. The laureates and winners of twelve nominations have been identified, which determine the activities of students. This includes sports, social, creative and media activities. Student public and trade union collectives are also well represented and noted.

The winner and student of 2022 was Marianna Naimanova, a third-year student of the Faculty of Law of the BSU Institute of Justice, for whom receiving the Grand Prix became a total surprise.

I am overwhelmed with emotions. I have been a social activist all my life at school, and here at the university. I graduated from the music school in Ust-Orda, I am a soloist of the instrumental ensemble " Exprompt", I play the accordion, I do not forget about science. Now I remember that I had to raise all public work from the ground up in the council. However, I still did not expect it. Thanks to the guys and the university management for choosing me," Marianna does not hide her emotions.

The Rector of Baikal State University, Professor Viktor Ignatenko addressed the gathered students, teachers and guests.

– Dear friends, it has already become a good tradition to honor the most worthy students at the end of the year, today we will learn the names of the best of the best. I wish you all success and good spirits," said the rector.
