On March 25, the International Faculty of Baikal State University hosted the tenth anniversary International Student Scientific and Practical Conference "Russia and the countries of the Asia-Pacific region: dialogue of cultures (traditions and modernity)"

There were five sections at the conference: two sections "Language and modern intercultural communication", "Space and variety of media communications", "Current issues of regional studies in Russia and Asian countries" and "Opportunities for the development of Russian-Chinese collaboration". The conference was held in a mixed format: students spoke in person and online.

The event was attended by 94 students from 9 countries. At the conference, many reports were presented on a variety of topics: etiquette, differences and similarities of traditions, linguistic characteristics of different countries, culture, etc.

According to the organizers, the number of students involved in scientific and research activities is growing every year. Such events help students develop in the scientific field, and contribute to the formation and maintenance of friendly relations between countries.
