The VII Baikal International Forum of Partners opened in Irkutsk.

One of the co-organizers of the large-scale event was the Baikal State University. On its site, as one of the components of the Forum, the International Conference "The Great Tea Way - an International Humanitarian Corridor: Historical Experience and a Look into the Future." Initiative and cooperation of Russia, China and Mongolia." With the participation of prominent scientists and practitioners from various sectors of the economy of several countries.

The forum is held annually with the support of the Governor and the Government of the Irkutsk Region. This year the event brought together delegations from several regions of Russia, about 30 companies from Belarus, as well as representatives of the business community of Mongolia and China.

The main topic of the big meeting is devoted to the economic interaction of the regions along the route of the Great Tea Way.

The opening ceremony and plenary session of the Forum "The Potential of the Great Tea Way: Historical Trade Corridor and Modern Business Realities" was attended by heads of foreign delegations, representatives of business and government.

BSU was presented by the rector of the university, Professor Oleg Gribunov, and. about. Vice-Rector for Science and International Activities Lyudmila Sanina, Advisor to the Administration Doctor Vladimir Sinichenko.

An important event of the first day was the signing of eight cooperation agreements between various organizations. The only educational institution in the region that found partners in the framework of the Forum was BSU. Rector Oleg Gribunov signed agreements with the Northern University of China and the Russian-Chinese Friendship Society.
