Baikal State University continues to strengthen international ties with
partners from the PRC. Within the framework of a friendly visit, Advisor to the
BSU Administration, Doctor of History, Professor Vladimir Sinichenko visited a
number of leading scientific and educational centers in China.
The first point of the route was the Northern University of China, located in
Taiyuan. Professor Sinichenko held a meeting with representatives of the
university administration, following which the parties discussed the content of
the cooperation agreement, the signing of which is planned within the framework
of the VII Baikal International Forum of Partners in August this year.
"Chinese colleagues have expressed high interest in working together. In
particular, they supported the initiative to create a joint research center and
expressed their readiness to promote the development of our engineering
training" Vladimir Viktorovich shared.
Also, a representative of BSU paid a return visit to the Chinese Academy of
Social Sciences (KAON). Recall that a few months ago a delegation of scientists
from the Middle Kingdom visited BSU. This time, during the negotiations, the
parties discussed in detail the programs of bilateral academic exchange, the
organization of mutual internships.
