A fair “The First Day of Freshman” was held in the schoolyard of Baikal State University. 12 student associations and the student union prepared their own stations where everyone could perform small tasks and get pleasant bonuses for it: BSU merch, sandwiches, coupons and bonuses from partners. Here it was possible to catch a plastic fish with a joke, make stories out of the given words and, most importantly, to get acquainted with the structure of the university.

The event was organized by the BSU Student Affairs Department. The main goal was to familiarize first-year students with the extracurricular activities of BSU, which, according to Yulia Arshinskaya, the leading manager of the Department for Work with Students, they fulfilled one hundred percent.

The Office of Student Affairs plans to hold a Freshman Day both within the university walls and in the BSU College. On September 9, lectures about BSU extracurricular activities will start, where the students will be able to get acquainted with a variety of ways to brighten up student life with the colors of activity.
