https://bgu.ru/eng/) was included in the TOP-40 among 69 websites of the leading federal and national research universities included in this rating.
According to Mikhail Kuz’min, vice-rector for international relations, Baikal State University implements a comprehensive approach to working with foreign audiences (applicants, partner organizations, international associations and scientific community). The University uses all available digital communication channels - BSU website in three languages, international online educational exhibitions, foreign media, as well as resources of partner organizations (Rossotrudnichestvo, universities, diplomatic missions) and others.
In addition to the English- and Chinese-language versions of the website, the university staff created landing pages in four languages, including Arabic and French (
https://study.bgu.ru/). Also today, BSU is also strengthening its interaction with foreign offices of Rossotrudnichestvo, creating profile video materials, as well as participating in educational exhibitions and selection events.
"The current rating position of the university confirms the high efficiency of the university's work with digital tools in foreign languages and demonstrates the potential for further development of the English-language Internet resource by increasing the volume of information content and expanding the number of services for foreign citizens. Moreover, the development of the English-language website of the university will promote the brand and educational products of BSU abroad, as well as increase the contingent of foreign students" - said Vice-Rector for International Relations Mikhail Kuz’min.
