Korean culture days in "Khudozhestvenny"

Korean culture days in Irkutsk have long become a good tradition. Usually they are held in spring, but the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea decided to make an unscheduled gift for fans of oriental culture - a movie screening of the new historical blockbuster “The Throne” on the screen of “Khudozhestvenny”. This time guests from the country of morning freshness presented the audience not only photographic views of the distant homeland, but also poems. Their author is the Consul General of Korea.

"Of course, I am not a professional writer, but suddenly such an inspiration came to me - poems," says Han Seong Chin, Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Irkutsk

Ten poetic sketches on the theme of Baikal, Siberia and love for nature are exhibited in Korean and Russian. They are framed by the landscapes of Southeast Asia. And on the stage, young artists of "Konopushki" delight the audience with a traditional dance with fans. In national costumes, they are almost no different from their Korean colleagues

"We have been taking part in this event for several years. It is not the first time we are called. And every time we are very happy that we are called, that we are remembered and loved", - says the soloist of the dance theater "Konopushki" Alexandra Bazhenova.

The historical drama "The Throne" tells about the classic confrontation between the ruler of an empire and his eldest son. Beautifully shot, dramatic and thought provoking, like all the work presented at the movie festival.
