The association of Eastern European universities (EEUA), which was formed in 2017, awarded Baikal State University with an award in the field of international student recruitment. This was announced today by the rector of Baikal State University, Professor Viktor Ignatenko at a meeting of the academic council of the university.

"This award is a high evaluation of our work with international students. Recently we have more than doubled the enrollment of international students. These are good results of work, they are visible. I congratulate from the bottom of my heart the international block of our university, as well as all structural units involved in work with international students. This is a great achievement for us", - emphasized Victor Ignatenko.

Among the universities of the region Baikal State University is the only one who received this award this year.
