International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu championship tournament was held in Ulaanbaatar. AJP TOUR ULAANBAATAR INTERNATIONAL JIU-JITSU CHAMPIONSHIP 2023 - GI & NO-GI. Students and professor of Baikal State University, deputy director for educational work of the Institute of World Economy and International Relations of BSU Maria Chalikova-Ukhanova attended it.

The master student of BSU Veniamin Ukhanov took second place (silver) in the GI nomination (kimono) and third place (bronze) in the NO GI nomination . His brother, fourth-year student of "World Economy" major Arseniy Ukhanov took two second places in both nominations.

The female half of the team also showed excellent results at the international level competitions. Nadezhda Berdnikova, a fourth-year student of the "Forestry" major of the Institute of National Economy of BSU, took gold in the GI nomination, and in the NO GI (non-kimono) nomination Nadezhda won silver. Maria Chalikova-Ukhanova's result is also the victory: First place (gold) in the NO GI nomination and second place (silver) in the GI nomination.
