HeadHunter, one of the largest job and employee search sites in the world, has made a rating of the best universities in Russia 2022-2023 (https://irkutsk.hh.ru/article/31475). Baikal State University took 29th position among the higher education organizations of the country. The criteria of the rating are the popularity of the university in the region, the demand for graduates of the university among employers, the relative level of expected salaries of graduates, their work experience and current employment. The average expected salary of graduates of BSU amounted to 40 thousand rubles, and the coefficient of demand for graduates among employers is 16.1. The final score of the university is 103.7. The leader of the hh.ru rating is the National Research University HSE University, in second place is the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, in third place is the Moscow Financial and Industrial University Synergy.
