The 11th annual forum of the leading Russian universities "The Future of Higher Education" took place in Moscow. Mikhail Kuz’min, Vice-Rector for International Relations of Baikal State University, took part in it. He presented the achievements of the university in international and research activities and spoke about the main directions of the university development, which are implemented in order to enter the top universities of Russia RAEX-100 rating, as well as the rating of "Three missions of universities".
Since 2012 RAEX rating consortium in close cooperation with academic community and with support of Russian Union of Rectors implements a large-scale project, which purpose is assistance in development of higher education in Russia.
The Forum was dedicated to the problems of demand for graduates, development of export of education, adaptation of study programs to the needs of the economy, the role of universities in the development of regions and other relevant topics. Rectors and Vice-Rectors of leading Russian universities, as well as experts from the professional community participated in the forum.
In the course of the forum activities the annual RAEX-100 rating of the best Russian universities and the rating of the Siberian Federal District universities were published, in which Baikal State University ranks eighth.
Reference. The annual forum of the leading universities "The Future of Higher Education", organized by RAEX Agency since 2013, has gained the reputation of the largest independent communication platform for the development of higher education in Russia and in the former Soviet Union. Every year the event gathers up to 500 specialists - representatives of the relevant state authorities, heads of leading universities, representatives of the academic and expert communities.
