BSU students received prizes for winning the business solutions competition
The first place in Siberia and the third place in the country was taken by students of the Department of Journalism and Marketing Technologies of Baikal State University at the business solutions competition "Archer Future". They received their awards at the master class "Factchecking and Media Hygiene", which was held in the reading room of the BSU library. Their mentors and students congratulated the participants of the «PRESS-nerps» team.
The premiere of the play "Tartuffe. Moliere."
Within the framework of the regional stage of the Russian Student Spring Festival, the premiere of the performance based on Moliere's comedy play "Tartuffe" took place on the stage of the Arts Center. The theater studio of the Center demonstrated the production for Creativity of Baikal State University "By Role".
New forms of internship for international students
The International Faculty updated the forms of industrial practice for foreign students studying "Linguistics". Chinese students of the fourth year were offered to try themselves in the role of tour guides in real conditions of Irkutsk museums. In collaboration with the museum staff and their internship supervisor, the students prepared texts of excursions in Russian and Chinese.
Interuniversity Olympiad on Country Studies at BSU
The Department of Russian Language and Intercultural Communication held a city Olympiad for international students "Country Studies of Russia". Students from several Irkutsk universities came to the International Faculty to demonstrate their knowledge of Russian culture, history and geography. The students had to show their knowledge of the state symbols of the Russian Federation, the most famous sights, traditions and holidays. The main part of the Olympiad concerned regional country studies.
BSU management held a meeting with the Chairman of the Great State Khural of Mongolia
On April 5, during the visit to Ulaanbaatar, Oleg Gribunov, the first vice-rector - vice-rector for scientific work, Mikhail Kuz’min, vice-rector for international relations, as well as Mikhail Vinokurov, BSU honorary rector, were received by the chairman of the Great State Hural of Mongolia Gombozhavyn Zandanshatar.
